1. What happens if the batteries run out? – You can either use the Emergency Override Key to open the door manually or plug in the included External Battery Box to the port on the keypad to provide temporary power.

2. How many fingerprints can the ET630 store? – The system can register and store up to 30 different fingerprints, allowing multiple family members or staff members to have individual access.

3. Does this safe fit A4-sized documents? – Yes. With an internal width of 303mm, it can comfortably accommodate A4 documents and standard file folders laid flat.

4. How do I set the fingerprint for the first time?  – Open the door with the key or default code, press the reset/setting button located on the inside of the door, and then place your finger on the scanner 3–4 times until you hear a long beep.

5. What is the default factory password? – The factory default password is usually “1234” or “123456”. You should change this to your own personal code immediately after installation.

6. Is the ET630 fireproof? – While the heavy-duty steel construction provides basic heat resistance, the ET630 is primarily classified as a biometric security safe. For high-level fire protection, we recommend looking at the DELI ET600 series.

7. Can I disable the “Beep” sound when I press buttons? – Yes. Most models allow you to enter a “Silent Mode” by pressing specific keys (often “00”* or a dedicated mute button) on the keypad.

8. Why is the alarm sounding even when I haven’t touched it? – The safe features a vibration sensor. If it is placed on an unstable surface or if the wall it is attached to experiences heavy vibration, the alarm may trigger. You can adjust the sensitivity in the settings.
